“A perfect afternoon”

Just returned from the afternoon only waterfalls tour with Sergio. He is an incredible guide, very [knowledgeable], personable, and a very talented photographer who knew exactly where to get the best photos of the falls! Very reasonably [priced] as well. We had a perfect afternoon... Thanks, Sergio! (July 2013)

“Excellent guide”

I had the pleasure of taking this tour with a small group of four. Sergio Ortiz was our tour guide and what an excellent guide he turned out to be. Sergio explained the history of the area and also provided us with his expertise in photography thus allowing me to be able to capture some excellent photos of the Columbia River Gorge. (July 2011)

A personal tour of Portland

...SCORE!!! So great! We interacted, were able to ask questions and converse right with [Sergio]. It felt like a personal tour of Portland. He would pull over at certain spots and tell us about the neighborhoods, history, recommendations on restaurants and cultural events ... a GREAT tour guide! (November 2015)

"Sergio was warm & welcoming

I did three tours: a full day tour to Mt Hood, and two half day tours to the Columbia Gorge, and around the city, all with the amiable, amenable and knowledgeable tour guide Sergio. I would highly recommend all three tours as the scenery is spectacular, the van very comfortable and clean, and the information provided relevant and interesting.

I was particularly impressed by Sergio because if anyone in our group showed interest in specific features he could provide as much information as wanted. I was [traveling] alone with two other couples on tour (can be awkward) but Sergio was warm & welcoming and soon had everyone chatting and getting to know each other. He allowed us the right amount of time at each place of interest and took us to a couple of extra places on the way to Mt Hood (but we still got back on time).

Nothing was a problem for Sergio when people wanted to be dropped locations different to their hotels, particularly at the end of the city tour. The waterfalls are not be missed, the Timberline Lodge on Mt Hood has fascinating history and is an impressive structure, and the city tour orients oneself to the different parts of the city. Probably start with the city tour. Finally, Sergio was amiable, amenable and a professional photographer! (April 2015)

This was an outstanding service. [Sergio] was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, engaging and extremely knowledgeable, he made the drive and the visit an enjoyable and fascinating experience. The [Multnomah] falls were magnificent and the walk to top was fun too. The Columbia River was equally magnificent. Highly recommended if you're on a budget and short on time.

“Sergio's knowledge was superb”

I decided to do a wine tour after doing a river cruise in Washington State and Oregon. I called these people about 5 months before I was to leave. I was doing a solo trip, but [Sergio] had no doubts about that, even though other wine touring companies did. Other companies would not take me because I was a solo. Sergio was my guide along with three other people on the tour. I was staying at an airport hotel, so it was out of the way for him to come and get me. The other people were staying downtown. Again, no problem. The tour was fantastic, as was Sergio. He was very knowledgeable about the 3 wineries we visited. The other people on the tour was also fantastic and we all had a great time. The wine was great, [Sergio's] knowledge was superb, and it was a great adventure for wine lovers. They will pick you up at your hotel and take you back when finished. The tour was about 5-6 hours long. I would definitely do this again. (May 2014)

“Wizened veteran”

Sergio, a wizened veteran, is a very knowledgeable guide. He is very easy going and professional. We did the 1/2 day gorge and waterfall tours and [it's] simply breathtaking. Will be seeing [him] again when we come back for another visit. (June 2015)

Great tips for getting the best travel shots

We took this Portland City Tour/Waterfalls Combo this past March and had a great and educational time. Mind you, if you truly want to LEARN and see the best sights of the city with an experienced guide this is your place! Our tour was unusual as we went off season and it was raining so we (me and hubby) ended up the only ones on the tour that day.
We ended up getting a wonderful private tour of the best sights of Portland filled with history and cool details from Sergio Ortiz, our super smart and interesting tour guide. Bonus points that he also happens to be working as a professional photographer and even gave me great tips for getting the best travel shots I am also about to launch my own site! He was very personable and answered all of our questions and then some!
Mind you, this is an educational and not gimmicky tour. You will see the best sights at a good pace but the tour is long and requires lots of moving about due to waterfalls. I would definitely recommend this to anyone truly interested in seeing a city, learning its history and any other modern details from a smart and professional company. (March 2011)

My friend and I had a 3 day trip to Portland and really wanted to see the Multnomah Falls & Gorge waterfalls. This tour was perfect. We were picked up on time at our hotel by Sergio in a very comfortable van. We shared the tour with one other tourist - not a problem for us. Sergio was a great driver and tour guide - very knowledgeable. He allowed the right amount of time for photo stops, viewing and shopping. Back in Portland, at our request, he dropped us off in the Pearl District rather than our hotel. We would highly recommend this tour!

“The whole day was a delight”

I found myself in Vancouver WA on a Sunday on my own and needed something to do. I was so pleased I chose to take a full day tour to Mount Hood and the Columbia Gorge and Waterfalls. There were just 3 of us which made it a very personal tour. Sergio was our guide and what an amazing guy he is! So friendly, very knowledgeable and even offered some very good [advice] on taking photos too! The whole day was a delight and so reasonably priced too. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Vancouver WA so I can go on another tour ... Highly recommended. (March 2014)

“Friendly and easy going”

We wanted to take the Mount St. Helens tour but this was not available on the days we [were] on the area, however the company [were] kind enough to open the tour for us on this day as we agreed to pay the price excess (there were only 2 traveling and a minimum of 3 is required).

Our days was great we stopped off at both visitor centres and for lunch en route to the mountain, the views were spectacular and our guide Sergio was very friendly and easy going. (July 2015)
